User Agreement

Effective 22 September 2026

This agreement covers the Kano iOS app. Kano lets you document your own non-alcoholic drinks, capture or import a photo, write ingredients and steps, optionally dictate the story field, preview a card at no charge, and spend Creation Credits to keep an immutable recipe card on this device.

Your content

You are responsible for the photos and text you enter. Do not add content you do not have the right to use. House recipes on this device are local files for you to edit and are not live networked social features.

Credits

Keeping a new recipe card costs Creation Credits after you confirm in the system dialog. Previews, drafts, favorites, and saving or sharing a card you already generated do not spend credits. Credits are consumable purchases through Apple. They are stored on this device and cannot be restored after you remove the app, use Clear All Data, or use Delete Account. Apple handles charges and refunds.

Accounts

Access uses one-tap local sign-in after you agree to the Privacy Policy and this User Agreement. There is no Sign in with Apple and no password. Log Out returns you to Continue and leaves recipes on the device. Delete Account erases the local account identifier, recipes, media, and remaining credits on this device.

Clear All Data

Clear All Data permanently deletes recipes, media, and remaining credits on this install. Credits cannot be restored.
